eDrawings® is the premier 2D, 3D and AR/VR design communication tool for stakeholders in the design to manufacture process as well as external prospects and customers. Delivering a rich collaborate tool set, eDrawings enables everyone to speed up their design processes, communicating with clarity and precision to get to market faster. CAD and non CAD users can share 3D models, interrogate them, create mark ups and then share these markups to accelerate the whole design process.
The Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) capabilities of eDrawings extends its use into virtual product evaluations by design teams and customers. AR/VR capabilities are available in windows desktop professional and mobile versions of eDrawings.

eDrawings Professional is intended for CAD users who need to both share product designs and coordinate design reviews. With eDrawings Professional you can create review-enabled eDrawings files that allow an unlimited number of recipients to mark up and provide feedback on product designs.

The eDrawings Viewer is intended primarily for users who need to consume and understand 3D product data, but not use CAD, create, or publish eDrawings files themselves.

eDrawings Publisher enables non-SOLIDWORKS® users to share eDrawings files from their native CAD system to benefit from easy design communication across multiple CAD environments with the click of a mouse button.

  Create layouts by selecting drawing views and dragging and dropping them into the layout.
• Hyperlinking
  Hyperlinking views is supported in drawing files. Section line and detail circle annotations in drawing files hyperlink to the associated section or detail view. When the pointer is moved over a section line or detail circle, the annotation for the related view is highlighted.
• 3D Pointer
  Use the 3D Pointer to point to a location in all drawing views in drawing files. With the 3D Pointer, a linked set of crosshairs appears in each of the drawing views.
