DraftSight is a feature-rich 2D and 3D CAD solution for architects, engineers, and construction service providers, as well as professional CAD users, designers, teachers, and hobbyists. DraftSight allows users to create, edit, view, and mark up any type of DWG file, and has a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to quickly switch from an existing CAD system.

What do the individual versions contain?

DraftSight Professional - Best-in-class 2D CAD software with powerful productivity tools and an API that accelerates project delivery.

DraftSight Premium - DraftSight Premium includes all the features of DraftSight Professional, as well as 3D modeling with full 2D drawing parametrization and 3D mesh creation.

DraftSight Enterprise - A network license that allows concurrent use and design compliance across an entire organization. It includes all the necessary tools to create 2D drafts and drawings, including API functionality.

DraftSight Enterprise Plus - It is an expanded version of the basic DraftSight Enterprise, including additional 2D drawing parametrization and spatial modeling.

Types of licenses

• Stand-alone licenses (DraftSight Professional, Premium)

A stand-alone license is installed on a workstation. It requires an internet connection only during the first launch.

• Network licenses (DraftSight Enterprise, Enterprise Plus)

A network license is activated on one machine (called a license server) for an entire company. Therefore, when running DraftSight in the same local network as the license server, the license is automatically downloaded without the need to use the license transfer mechanism.

• Term license

A term license is only valid for a selected period of time. The minimum subscription period is 3 months. Available for all packages.

• Perpetual license

A lifetime/unlimited license. Updates can be purchased at any time. Available for DraftSight Enterprise and Enterprise Plus packages.
